This is where you should answer the most common questions prospective clients might have.
Is it Semi-Permanent?
Yes, all cosmetic tattooing is designed to fade over time.
What if I don’t like them?
We love what we do and want you to, too! We will work closely with you to achieve the brow you love. If for whatever reason you decide you don’t like them, I do removal.
Does it hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. A topical anaesthetic is used before your procedure and can be used during to make the experience more comfortable. A 10g of Numit can be purchased over the counter at a Chemist which is 5% or if you want to be sure you have a comfortable experience you can contact Susan from The Compounding Pharmacy on Charters Towers road for a stronger mix.
Do you do repeat customer discounts?
You will not pay full price for your eyebrow again unless you leave it over 18 months. The refreshes go up in price depending on how long it has been since your last appointment.
Do I need a Perfection Visit?
All cosmetic tattooing is a 2 stage sometimes 3 stage process. In some rare cases your skin may reject the pigment so we will need to work out what the cause is so we can get you the required result. A Perfection visit at 6-12 weeks is highly recommended to get the final results of your procedure. It is normal if the brows heal a little patchy after the first session. At the Perfection visit we can go darker, thicker and put back anything that has come out. The 6-12 week Perfection Visit is $110
How long does it last?
How long it lasts depends on your skin, skincare and lifestyle. Low iron, oily skin, laser, peels, the sun, Retinol, breastfeeding & pregnancy are just a few factors which can contribute to your tattoo fading faster. Eyebrows would ideally be a 12 moth refresh. Eyeliner and Lips a 1-2 year refresh.
Is there anything I need to do before the appointment?
Avoid sunburn, waxing, exercise, alcohol & caffeine right before your appointment.
What is the aftercare?
I will provide all of the aftercare and instructions. Eyebrows can not be wet until they are healed. Lips need to be kept hydrated.
